South Bank Eco Shop

South Bank Eco Shop provides low-cost surplus food to all, reducing waste, easing hardship, and promoting sustainability in a welcoming community setting.

South Bank Eco Shop is a community project. It offers low-cost food to local people, using surplus stock from shops and suppliers.

You will be asked to sign up to South Bank Community Land Trust on your first visit, but this is free. For a suggested donation of about £3 a visit, you can choose around 10 items. These might be tins, dried food, fresh produce and other basics, depending on stock. It is open to everyone, with no referral.

Stock is first-come, first-served and changes each week. The shop cuts food waste and helps people on a tight budget. Local volunteers and community groups run it.
