In the Redcar area, the charity works in partnership with Redcar Baptist Church to run a Community Grocery.
This initiative offers affordable food to local families through a membership scheme, helping to reduce the financial pressure of rising living costs while also tackling food waste.
The Community Grocery provides more than just food. Alongside weekly shopping, members have access to a variety of free courses and support services.
These include sessions on cooking, budgeting, health and wellbeing, and job readiness designed to support personal development and help people take positive next steps.
The grocery space is also a welcoming social hub, offering a sense of dignity and belonging to all who come through its doors.
