Whale Hill Primary School Eco Shop provides free surplus food to support school families, reducing waste and promoting wellbeing within the community.
Whale Hill Primary School runs a free Eco Shop. It offers surplus food and household basics to families connected to the school.
It is open only to parents and carers of Whale Hill pupils. There is no cost, referral or membership.
Each week it offers items like dried goods, tins, fresh produce and household basics, depending on stock. The food comes from food-sharing partners, which cuts waste while helping school families.
Staff and volunteers in the school run it. It is part of wider support for pupils and families.
