The Link Charitable Trust’s Crisis Support service offers urgent, compassionate aid to people in Redcar facing hardship, emergency, or severe distress.
The Link Charitable Trust's Crisis Support helps people and families in Redcar and nearby. It is for those facing a serious emergency or real hardship.
It is a last resort, for when no other help is available. It can provide food, toiletries and clothing, along with practical advice.
It is there for people facing homelessness, fleeing domestic abuse, or hit by a sudden loss of income. The team looks at each person's situation and works out the best help. It can also connect people to longer-term services for housing, money, debt or mental health.
The support is private, respectful and free of judgment. For many people, it is a first step to feeling settled again. It is part of The Link's wider work to build confidence, reduce loneliness and support mental health.
