The Saltburn Foodbank provides vital emergency food support to individuals in Saltburn and the surrounding areas who are struggling to afford the basics.
Saltburn Food Bank is run by Saltburn Solidarity, a small local charity in Saltburn-by-the-Sea. It gives out emergency food parcels and basic household items to people and families who are short of money.
You do not need a referral or a voucher — anyone can come. It is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 12:00 to 4:00pm, at 2 Windsor Road (the former doctor's surgery).
Much of its food and funding comes from local donations, and Saltburn Solidarity also runs a second-hand shop called the Boho Room. It is built on neighbours helping neighbours, so that no one in Saltburn faces hunger or loneliness alone.
