Redcar Area Foodbank: St George’s, Normanby

The Redcar Area Foodbank runs a session at St George's Church in Normanby. It gives out emergency food to local people who are struggling with money.

It is part of the Trussell network. You need a voucher to use it. Local services give out the vouchers, such as Citizens Advice, a GP, a social worker or a housing team.

With a voucher, you get a three-day food parcel. Volunteers make you welcome. They can also point you to more help, like debt advice, benefits or mental health.

Local volunteers run the foodbank, and donations pay for the food. No one in the community should face hunger alone.
