Redcar Area Foodbank: South Bank Baptist

The Redcar Area Foodbank runs a session at South Bank Baptist Church. It gives out emergency food to people in South Bank who are struggling to get by.

It is part of the Trussell network. You need a voucher to use it. Local services give out the vouchers, such as Citizens Advice, a GP, a housing officer or a social worker.

With a voucher, you get a three-day food parcel. Volunteers make you welcome. They can also point you to more help, like debt advice, benefits or mental health.

Local volunteers run the foodbank. It is supported by local churches, businesses and donors.
