The Guisborough Bridge Food Stop is a community-led initiative offering affordable food support to residents of Guisborough who are struggling.
The Guisborough Bridge Food Stop offers affordable food to people in Guisborough. It helps when money is tight or a bill is hard to meet. It is based at Guisborough Methodist Church Hall.
It works on a pay-as-you-can basis. You choose the food and household items you need, and pay what you can afford. You do not need a referral or voucher, but you do need to show proof of a Guisborough address.
Volunteers give a warm welcome and a listening ear. They can point you to more help, like debt advice, housing or wellbeing support.
Volunteers run the Food Stop, and donations keep it going. It offers practical help with dignity.
