Grangetown Primary School Eco Shop is a community initiative run within the school to support families by offering low-cost surplus food & household items.
Grangetown Primary School runs an Eco Shop. It helps families with low-cost surplus food and household items.
It is open to parents and carers of Grangetown Primary pupils. You can choose 5 items for £1, or about 10 items for a small suggested donation. What is in stock changes each week. Items usually include tins, dried food, fresh produce and everyday basics.
You do not need a referral or membership. It is just for families at the school.
The food is surplus stock from shops and suppliers, which cuts waste. School staff and parent volunteers run it, alongside other family support.
